88% resolved. 22% stayed loyal. What went wrong?
That's the AI paradox hiding in your CX stack. Tickets close. Customers leave. And most teams don't see it coming because they're measuring the wrong things.
Efficiency metrics look great on paper. Handle time down. Containment rate up. But customer loyalty? That's a different story — and it's one your current dashboards probably aren't telling you.
Gladly's 2026 Customer Expectations Report surveyed thousands of real consumers to find out exactly where AI-powered service breaks trust, and what separates the platforms that drive retention from the ones that quietly erode it.
If you're architecting the CX stack, this is the data you need to build it right. Not just fast. Not just cheap. Built to last.
Hey everyone,
The last 10 days I’ve been stuck.
I’ve been grinding on songs in Suno.
Hours at a time. Regenerate. Regenerate. Regenerate.
Nothing great is coming out.
At the same time I’m bouncing between Grok Imagine, ChatGPT, Claude, and building AI agents with n8n, trying to keep up with everything happening in the AI world.
The deeper I dive, the heavier the pressure gets.
Every day there’s another tool. Another breakthrough. Another person going viral with something incredible.
It starts to feel like juggling glowing orbs labeled:
innovate faster
stay ahead
go viral
Drop one and the whole act crashes.
My reach dips. Engagement slips. Creativity stalls.

Failure stares back.
And yet…
I refuse to quit.
Not because it’s easy.
Because building something meaningful was never supposed to be easy.
Here’s what I’m starting to realize:
Expectations don’t just weigh us down.
They choke creativity.
We scroll through highlight reels while hiding our messy drafts.
We expect every prompt to be perfect.
Every output to be brilliant.
But creativity doesn’t work like that.
Messiness is the magic.
Awkward prompts.
Failed regenerations.
Weird experiments that completely flop.
Those aren’t detours.
They’re the path.
The truth is this:
AI is a playground.
And the moment we turn it into a performance stage… creativity suffocates.
So this week I’m doing something different.
I’m letting myself experiment again.
No pressure.
No expectations.
Just curiosity.
Your challenge this week:
What’s one expectation you’re ready to drop?
• Chasing every new shiny tool
• Posting every day no matter what
• Comparing your work to highlight reels
Hit reply and tell me.
Let’s lighten the stress together. .
Shine on,
Neon
